Counting the Cost of Discipleship

Luke 14:28

Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won't you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?

What sacrifices might the Lord be asking me to make in order to follow Him more closely, and am I willing to make them?

Heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom to understand the cost of following You and the strength to make the necessary sacrifices. May my commitment to You be steadfast and true. Amen.
